ZWO ASIAIR Mounting Kit and Belt Drive for EAF on William Optics RedCat 51 and RedCat 71
When I started to design an adaptation from my “On-OTA” mounting kit for William Optics RedCat 51 and RedCat 71, I observed that a much simpler mounting would be possible if it would be designed specifically for these telescopes. After adoption for the “On-OTA” kit:
I also designed the new kinds of kits for William Optics RedCar 51 and RedCat 71. The idea of the new kits is the same for both models since both telescopes are similar in their mechanical design. The major difference is the construction of the saddle handle bars of the RedCat 51 and RedCat 71. On RedCat 51, it is optional and mounted on one side, whereas on RedCat 71 it connects both telescope tube rings.
As a result, the kit for RedCat 51 is available in two versions, one for the saddle handle bar:
and for direct mounting on the main mounting ring:
On On RedCat 71, the main bracket of the kit sits under the saddle handle bar and held by two screws:
In all versions, you can insert and use a guiding scope with Vixen-shaped base. For this, the kit for direct mounting on the main mounting ring of RedCat 51 additionally provides its own clamps for a guiding scope. On the RedCat71, the guiding scope is inserted the in the saddle handle bar:
All three kits are available in the store now:

Along with this, I also designed Vixen-shaped bases with integrated in mounting rings which would fit almost any guiding scope. They are available in two versions, for smaller scope tubes:
and for larger scope tubes:
