The provided adapter kit allows using the ZWO EAF attached to the popular Baader Diamond Steeltrack (BDS) focuser via a belt drive.

Compared to other adapters and to the standard solutions from ZWO, this adapter is much more compact and provides a clutch mechanism allowing manual control of the focuser when needed, for example, for collimation. This adapter requires removing the coarse knob on the focuser, since it is replaced by a pulley (included in the package). Still compared to other adapters, the mounting of the adapter does not require a partial disassembling of the focuser which is risky and might violate the warranty.

There are two versions of this kit. One is for BDS-RT and another is for the the BDS-SC version of the focuser. The construction is the same, but the difference is sizes of the ring and belt due to difference sizes of the focuser tubes
