Make the Innorel RT90C tripod more stable for astrophotography
(use the arrows on the left and right sides in the middle of the frame to scroll through pictures)
This leg spreader is made for the Innorel RT90C carbon tripods and similar tripods. It keeps the legs fixed in their wide position so makes the tripod more rigid. The leg spreader should work with any mount with a 3/8" central mounting hole. There are around 14mm of the screw thread from the top surface of teh tripd mounting plate available for the mount.
The nut provided with the leg spreader is useful for extension piers which do not have 3/8" threaded, rather a regular 3/8" whole.
If use you use the ZWO AM5(N) or AM3 mounts, you might want to get the kit which also contains an adapter plate to attach ZWO mounts directly to the plate provided with the Innorel RT90C carbon tripod. Use this link to order this kit
