These masks have a fine-grade pattern. Please select the lens hood from the list for the right size.
(use the arrows on the left and right sides in the middle of the frame to scroll through pictures)
The pattern of the masks is calculated for the original focal length of 200mm with the classic Bahtinov factor of 150. By experience, these are the optimal parameters for focal lengths from 135-400mm.
All masks can be ordered with a storage box. It is very recommended option especially for larger lens hoods, since the fine and long bars of the mask pattern can be damaged easier in larger sizes.
Unlike other Bahtinov masks on the market, the Bahtinov pattern of these masks has been calculated and adapted specifically for focal lengths of DSLR or mirror-less camera lenses or small telescopes. Many other masks are actually designed for large telescopes with very large focal lengths resulting in a coarse Bahtinov pattern.
Please note that the mask will sit with a slight play on the lens hood. However, this does not affect the function of the mask in any way. Please note that the material of the mask is heat-sensitive and starts deforming at 60˚C and hotter. The mask should be not left, for example, in the sun. Well, this should not be a problem in astrophotography 🙂
