Set of components for using ZWO ASIAIR (Pro/Plus/Mini) with ZWO EAF on the Sky-Watcher Esprit 100ED telescope

The kit integrates a ZWO ASIAIR Pro or Plus and adds a belt drive for the ZWO EAF to the focuser on the Sky-Watcher Esprit 100ED. The kit also includes a mounting plate placed on the top of the tube rings. The plate has a field of M4 holes in 20mm raster which allow mounting of other components. For example, the temperature sensor, laser pointer. Two clamps for the mounting of a guide scope on this plate are included. Other accessories can be ordered as well.

The set is based on the experience made with similar mounting kits for rigs based on DSLR lenses and small refractors.

The integrated belt drive for the ZWO EAF is much more compact than other adapters for the ZWO EAF. It does not require any modifications on the focuser, which might cause problems with the warranty. The drive supports free-wheeling, which allows regular use of the focuser even if EAF is attached.

The mounting plate for the ZWO EAF includes multiple eyelets for fixing of the cables. A hook-and-pile fastener is included in the set for this.

The set includes:

• multiple 3D-printed parts with preinstalled embedded nuts
• All required screws for assembly of the kit
• 4x 5/8"x15.4mm imperial screws for mounting of the top plate on the tube rings
• Allen keys for 5/8"imperial screws
• One pulley for EAF
• One belt in the required size
• ~30cm hook-and-pile fastener (also known as “velcro” (R) fastener)
